A beautiful, lay-flat, collar-style necklace, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose fancy double-link chain supports a fringe of fifty-five, lustrous, white Akoya pearls. These pearls are seated in shallow, high-polished cups that drop from the necklace's lacy chain; they graduate subtly, becoming smaller toward the back. This is an unusual necklace, with an almost layered look— it is striking in wear! We love the soft shine of the nacreous pearls, paired with the "harder" (and very slinky) gold chain. Construction is very fine: the backside of the necklace is a beautiful as the front. This is marked W Germany, 14k, and with a scribed-in design number:3906YA.It closes with a sturdy spring ring clasp.
