Y-3 is a collaboration label between adidas and renowned Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto who is known for his avant-garde designs and silhouettes. The label fuses high fashion with advanced sportswear to create minimalist and modern designs.

Y-3 by adidas unveils the Runner 4D IO, a futuristic design that makes use of the Three Stripe’s all-new 4D sole technology, with cutting edge cushioning and comfort. Compared to the silhouette’s previous transparent design, this iteration features an outer layer that conceals most of the sneaker's uppers in a white mesh color way. Beneath the shoe’s technical mesh shell is a removable Primeknit sock in black that offers added comfort and support.
